How to Play?

The flash game Blastro is a 2d shooting game. The basic idea is to shoot at the targets coming from the right side of the game panel and later in the game they start coming in from the left side too. The goal is to survive and avoid getting shoot at from targets. The controls are pretty basic ones. Player can move up and down vertically using keys 'W' and 'S' , respectively and left and right horizontally using keys 'A' and 'D', respectively. To shoot at targets coming from left side press 'Space' so that you are facing the targets coming from left. To shoot press 'J' repeatedly. The game panel has two indicator bars, and they are both located in the lower center of the game panel and right from them are two indicators named 'ShoeLv.1' and 'ChargeBooseLv.1'. The indicator bar on the left is colored 'red' and it indicates how much health player has. The indicator bar on the right from the 'health' bar is for energy field that player can create holding 'J' key for extended period of time.The way that works is while player is holding the key 'J' the 'energy field' indicator bar starts filling and that is indicated by the yellow/orange color and when it riches the end of the bar player can release the 'J' key and the round energy field will be generated and every target that passes through it will get destroyed. The energy field lasts for couple of seconds, but while it's present player can still press and hold 'J' key to create another one. The other game controls are 'M' to turn music 'On/Off' and 'P' for pause. The 'ShoeLv.1' is the level of shooting that you are currently at and the 'ChargeBooseLv.1' is the level of energy field boost that you are currently at. The main menu of game Blastro contains four buttons of which two are related to game. The first button is named Start and when pressed it presents the player with two choices for game mode. One game mode is 'Easy' and the other 'Normal'. The difference between the two are that in 'Easy Mode' the targets can be easily destroyed and in 'Normal Mode' player has to shoot more times to destroy the same targets. The other button is named 'Instructions' and provides the player with game controls and hints. The controls can't be changed. While playing the game player can collect three types of boost, one is Health, the other one ShootUp and the last one BoostUp. If you collect more ShootUp boosts then you can shoot multiple targets at once and if you collect more BoostUp boost then the energy field lasts longer and gets bigger. Hint that I can give you is to start shooting before targets show up and/or create a lot of energy fields up front, try to create couple of them in a chain to increase chances of killing more targets.
