Guard ball is a very simple game but it requires very fast reflexes and very good coordination between the eyes and the fingers. Your task is to keep an ever moving red ball inside the screen and to do this you will have 1 paddle which you can place at any one side of the screen at any given time. Start the game by clicking on the green 'P' button on the screen and be ready to block right away because the red ball will appear instantly and already moving.
Use the arrow keys on keyboard to position your paddle: left for the left side, up for the top side, down for the bottom side and right for the right side. Beware that the paddle will not be positioned at the further edges of the screen but a little bit towards the center so if you are slow in moving it, the ball could have passed behind where the paddle is placed. Therefore the correct way of playing is to move your paddle right after the ball bounce because you can determine which side you have to block by looking at the direction of the ball.
You start at level one and you gain 1 point for every bounce. If you can keep the ball in the field long enough, the level will gradually increase and the ball will move faster. If you lost the ball, you will start over from level one. Once you lose all lives, the game is over and you can submit your score to be compared with the rest of the world.
