How to Play?

Otrail is a game which is sort of like the classic breakout game but with lots of twists. A ball will appear somewhere on the screen and head to the bottom of the screen; you control a paddle which can be moved left and right along the bottom of the game screen by pressing the left arrow and right arrow keys and try to block the ball so it will bounce back upwards. The bounce direction of the ball is not affected by the position of the paddle that it hits, but the speed of the bounce can be increased by holding the Up arrow button during the impact and decreased by holding the Down arrow button during the impact. The objective of the game is to get a sufficient number of balls through the 'goal opening', which can be at the left, upper or right part of the screen within the given time limit (timer at upper right corner). If successful, score will be awarded and the game will advance to the next level. There is no limit to the number of balls supplied, only that each time a ball fall through the bottom part of the screen, all score that has been earned in the current level will be lost, but the total score already earned in previous levels will not be affected From time to time, a special effect icon will appear on the screen; hit it with the ball to activate it. Also, at higher levels, the goal opening will be blocked by small squares that will require several hits to be destroyed so you will need more and more time to complete that level.
