How to Play?

In Star Crash, you are in control of an orbital resource collection device. Your job is to collect spiraling molecules and passing helium atoms for the purpose of research. This is supposed to be a simple job; unfortunately an envious mad scientist has found out about the collection device and want it destroyed. Thus as you are busy collecting items, the mad scientist will also be busy shooting explosives trying to blast the device to pieces. His shots will explode and spread into 8 projectiles which fly towards the 8 compass direction. Be very careful to avoid all of these projectiles because if any one of them hits the device, it will be destroyed and you will be fired. You will also notice that the longer you can keep the device safe, the mad scientist will become even madder and shoot faster. Eventually he will fire so fast that his shots will almost fill the entire screen, making it practically impossible for you to escape, meaning that you will be certainly fired. Your only hope now is to collect as many resources that you can so that you will receive enough payment when you are finally fired from your post. The amount that you will receive is the multiplication of the time you are on the job, the number of the spiral molecules and the hydrogen atoms.
