How to Play?

The game Treetd is one of those games where the goal is to defend a fortress or tower of some kind. The basic idea is that player has to stop the boulders from reaching the bottom of the player's tree. To play this game you'll need mouse and left mouse button. To scroll the screen up and down hover your mouse near the top and bottom, respectively. There is a mini map in the game. The mini map can be used to show the boulders currently on the map, as well as a convenient method of viewing locations on the map quickly. Click anywhere on the mini map to zoom to it. Click on any of the tower buttons on the right hand side of game panel to select them. Once selected you will be able to view more details on that particular tower. Once you have selected a tower, click on any of the grey rectangles underneath the tree branches to build it. Note when hovering over a rectangle, the semi circles indicate that towers range. There are also shortcut keys available. They are: 1..7 to select a tower type to build, U to upgrade selected tower, S to sell selected tower, Space to release creeps early, Up to scroll up and Down to scroll down. The game menu has four buttons. The buttons are named 'Tutorial', 'Free Play', 'Challenge Mode' and 'High Scores'. Pressing the 'Tutorial' button will present the player with the instructions on how to play the game. Pressing 'Free Play' will present the player with the options to choose difficulty level. Once you select the difficulty you'll be presented with level descriptions. Pressing 'Start' will start the game. Pressing the 'Challenge Mode' will make the game little more interesting. Pressing the 'High Scores' will present the player with the score board. My advice is to place a lot of towers strategically at the start of the game.
