How to Play?

The game Yubotu is a interesting and somewhat familiar puzzle type of game. The only thing you'll need to play this game is mouse and left mouse button. The way to play it is to place all the ships in the fleet in their respective positions on the grid. There are five types of ships. They are 'Submarine', 'Destroyer', 'Cruiser', 'Battleship' and 'Aircraft Carrier'. Each type is represented by number of squares, Submarine has one square length and others are plus one in length from the previous one. The ships can be placed either vertically or horizontally. No two ships can occupy adjacent grid squares or diagonal ones. All other squares must be occupied by water. The game menu has one button named 'Menu'. Pressing the 'Menu' button will present the player with a drop-down box. The drop-down box contains 'New Puzzle', 'Edit', 'Solve', 'File' and 'Help'. Each of these buttons contain their own drop-box. The 'New Puzzle' has various modes of playing the game. Pressing one of those will start the game. The game panel has a 10 by 10 grid. In the lower right part of the game panel are various choices for type of ship that you want to place on the grid. The 'Edit' button from 'Menu' has options to Undo the game , Clear All Inputs and Preferences. The 'Solve' button has various degrees of helping to solve the puzzle. The 'File' button has options to 'Load', 'Save' and 'Print' puzzle. The 'Help' button has a few helpful tips and hints and the how to play this game tutorial. My advice for players of this game is to be good at weird puzzle solving.
